CALL FOR PAPERS
We believe that sociology is at its best when theoretical explanations encounter data to solve real world
puzzles. We invite submissions that make theoretical and substantive contributions to sociological
knowledge. We welcome qualitative and quantitative approaches, social network analysis, experimental
methods, computer simulations and any other method that allows for the study of social mechanisms and
complex social dynamics.
Send submissions to inas.ny2011@columbia.edu by April 2, 2012, including (a) paper’s title; (b) author(s)’s
name, affiliation, and email address; (c) long abstract (min 500 – max 1000 words); (d) short bibliography.
